Our Vision: People go to the hospital when they are sick; we want you to come to us to become fit.

Our Mission: At SHC CrossFit we aim to provide excellence in member care.  We want to make sure that your training experience at SHC CrossFit is fun, educational and challenging.  We also want to develop a tight knit healthy community atmosphere.  Our instructors will do their very best to make your CrossFit group training sessions at personalized as possible.  We take a great deal of pride in our ability to learn about each and every one of our gym members.

We want to provide all of our members with a solid background in fitness knowledge, nutrition educations, and an edge of confidence to survive and thrive in your daily life and challenges that it brings.

Class Options

Introduction to CrossFit: Free- Every Saturday 9:00AM.
All perspective members MUST take this class before joining our gym.  We teach and assess the very basics of functional fitness.  We want to also introduce the intensity of CrossFit to each member at this time.  It is important to understand what you are getting into when you join our gym.  We will also take this time to education you on fitness and discuss all class options available to you.

CrossFit Essentials ($115- 4 weeks 3 x’s a week)

The emphasis of the Essentials course is on skill development and exposure to basic CrossFit movements. The class is designed to prepare you to enter the vigor’s of daily CrossFit group classes. Our instructors will be focusing on technique to ensure your safety and produce success at the next level.  We will introduce technique and mechanics first, then intensity.  We will be showing you movements that begin with the relatively basic patterns and progressively more technical and skill based.  It’s important that you are here for each of the 12 sessions as these movements build on one another.  There will be a workout at the end of each session which will get progressively more challenging as the course progresses.  The difficulty of these workouts is ultimately in your hands the degree that you push yourself will determine how your results will be forged.  The class is called Essentials for a specific reason, we want you to know all the Essential movements, techniques and intensity needed to excel in our group classes. A skill test is given on the last day of class and must be passed in order to advance to CrossFit.

CrossFit: (Prices reflect 3 months) $195 3 days a week, $295 6 days a week

This class is for people who have passed our CrossFit essentials course or have been CrossFitting elsewhere for at least 3 months, and have a sound understanding of the 9 functional Crossfit movements. Each class will incorporate these moves and introduce more advanced Olympic lifting and gymnastic skills. These workouts will be more intense then the Essentials Class so expect to step it up a notch.  Athletes in these classes have made Crossfit a part of their life and are working to increase their levels of strength and conditioning and to master new skills.
Combo Classes:  $35 a month attend as many of the following classes as possible.
Fitness 101:  This is our introductory program where athletes are introduced to relatively intense cardiovascular workouts with strong emphasis on proper mechanics, basic functional movements and body control.

Boot camp: CrossFit without barbells or high end gymnastic skills.  We still ramp up the intensity, focus on technique and movement patterns.  The workloads will be heavy so be prepared to work.

Mobility: This class will help increase athletic performance, deal with injury prevention, help with injury resolution, and develop better movement preparation strategies.
